Life can be unpredictable. Travel insurance is always recommended for extra piece of mind. Unforeseen circumstances can arise that can impact your trip like unexpected illness, medical emergency, severe weather, delayed flights, or lost passports or baggage.

Prior to your arrival we will email you with your arrival details and stay confirmation.
For most stays. typically upon arrival, the property will feature a front desk that will assist with the check-in process. A valid governmental ID and credit card will be required at the time of check-in. Only the booking guest of record is able to check-in.
During your stay your best point of contact will be the front desk you checked in with at arrival. Most front desks are reachable from the phone in your unit.

Koala is a self-service marketplace. You create your own listing, set your own price, and wait for a traveler to find you on their website. Rialto Vacations is a full-service marketplace. We take your unit and proactively market it across a massive global network, including our direct site, Booking.com, Google Vacation Rentals, Airbnb (as a Superhost), and VRBO (as a Premier Partner).
While Koala has a beautiful interface, their reach is largely limited to people who already know about the Koala website.
Global Syndication: Rialto puts your unit where the most travelers are (Airbnb/VRBO). Koala is a "walled garden."
Superhost Advantage: We leverage our Superhost and Premier Partner statuses to get your unit higher in search results than an individual owner listing on their own.
Hands-On vs. Hands-Off: On Koala, you are still the "host" answering guest questions. With Rialto, we are the host. You just tell us the weeks you have, and we do the rest. While you can opt for a DIY listing, that allows guests to communicate with you directly. The majority of guests will still ask our professional team questions about the property and nearby things to do.
Koala: Typically charges a commission (around 8%) upon successful booking, along with a large up front fee for their Koala Pro service, guests also pay a service fee.
Rialto Vacations: We offer commission free payouts. You tell us the net amount you want to receive (e.g., "I want $2,000 for this week"). We add our management fee on top of that for the guest. You get your full requests payout, with no out-of-pocket costs or commissions deducted from your target price.

We charge a service fee to guests to cover the cost of running a safe and secure rental platform. While other rental websites may charge listing fees and membership fees, we do not.
We do not charge any membership fees.
Per our terms, refunds are only provided according to the specific cancellation policy of your booking. We cannot offer refunds for weather, medical emergencies, or travel delays, which is why we recommend Generali Travel Insurance.
