The Colonies at Williamsburg is your home base for making your own history in historic Virginia. The property is adjacent to outlet shopping and seafood restaurants, and is close to experiential colonial adventures, theme park thrills, and sites rich in maritime history.
The resort itself has a heated indoor pool, an outdoor pool with multiple interactive water features, an outdoor hot tub, tennis courts, barbecue grills and picnic tables, and a fitness center. The spacious two- and four-bedroom suites have living rooms, dining rooms, and fully appointed kitchens.
There is a $30.00 Resort Fee collected at the time of check-in (one fee per reservation/per week). It includes Wi-Fi, access to the fitness center, business center, DVD library, coffee/tea in the clubhouse, and use of in-room safe.
At The Colonies at Williamsburg, they understand that pets are an extension of your family and are one of very few resorts that offer a limited number of pet-friendly units, which are in a particular area of the resort near the walking areas. A non-refundable pet fee of $125.00 is due at check-in and availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Only non-aggressive breeds are allowed on resort premises and there is a maximum of two pets. YOU MUST CALL IN ADVANCE TO RESERVE PET FRIENDLY ACCOMOMODATIONS.

- Checkout: 10am
- Service animals are permitted. Pets are not allowed.
- An ID and credit card are required for check-in. Credit card is authorized for a refundable $100 security deposit and any incidentals that are charged to the room during stay.
- Room assignments for guests of owners will be done according to the time/date they were booked. The units will be assigned the morning of check-in day by the Front Desk. Until 10am the desk is busy with check outs and day passes. Owner units have priority for high floors. You can register anytime after 10am. They will call your cell phone when your assigned room is ready. If you arrive early, you are welcome to obtain a day pass to utilize the amenities while you wait for your room to be ready. Day passes can be obtained starting at 8am.
